What happens after I place my order?
Shirts are ordered in bulk from our suppliers. Each item is customized with the name or monogram you provide at checkout. The turnaround time is 7–14 business days before shipping due to this personalized process. We try to ship out sooner than 7-14 business days, but we are all human. Things happen. It’s life.
How does shipping work?
Once your package leaves Kae Collective, we are not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged items. For shipping issues, please contact USPS directly.
What shirt brands do you use?
We use a couple of different shirt brands to navigate ongoing inventory challenges. Your order may contain shirts from more than one brand based on availability. Please check sizing charts before ordering — we are not responsible for sizing errors.
How are the designs printed?
All designs use the Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing method. Prints are long-lasting and won’t fade, peel, or crack if you follow care instructions.

DTF Printing: White Shirts vs. Colored Shirts
How does DTF look on white shirts?
On white shirts, the colors appear more vibrant and true to design. The white background allows the DTF ink to stand out without needing a white underbase. You’ll get a soft, lightweight feel with a smooth print finish.
How does DTF look on colored or dark shirts?
For colored or dark shirts, a white underbase layer is printed first so the design pops against the fabric. This may make the print feel slightly thicker, but it ensures that colors stay bold and clear. The final look is still high-quality, long-lasting, and resistant to fading, cracking,
Care Tips for All Shirt Colors:
- Wash inside out with cold water.
- Tumble dry low or hang to dry.
- Avoid ironing directly on the design & no bleach or fabric softener.
Reminder: DTF printing works beautifully on all shirt colors, but minor texture and tone differences may occur depending on the shirt color and brand.
